Faculty

Alaitz Ayarza has been an assistant professor at CERGE-EI since September 2026. She is also a researcher at CERGE, Charles University and the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. She received her PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in 2023 and has a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. Her research focuses on applied labor economics, especially migration and gender economics.
